Spencer Meets Mema!

We love living in Georgia for so many reasons but if we had one complaint it would be that our families live so far away and are so spread out. Especially now that we have Spencer and we want him to be able to grow up around all of our family.



Our trip to FL was planned so that Spencer could meet his great grandma. His Mema! Mema has been dealing with some serious back issues for some time as was not able to travel to Atlanta when Spencer was born. About 1 month ago she had surgery on her back and is now facing a long recovery so we wanted to be there to help cheer her on and of course introduce her to Spencer!


We happened to pick a perfect weekend to visit because my Uncle Jon and Aunt Beth and cousins were also visiting from Colorado and we got to spend some time with them as well. Not to mention all of our family that lives in Florida!


We had such a great visit and just can't believe how fast it went!

Aunt Nadine arranged a brunch at the rehab facility that Mema is at so we could all visit together Here are some pics:
