In between visits to the rehab center to visit Mema, we drove down to Deerfield Beach to put our feet in the sand!
We really did not time the trip well because it was right in the middle of Spencer's nap time so he was not the most pleasant when we woke him up and took him out on the hot beach and had sand blow in his face :-)
Also, we did not expect to see a beach on this trip so we really had very few "supplies" with us. We grabbed some towels and sunscreen and made the best of it. Truthfully, we just wanted to feel the sand on our feet so even though it was short lived, it was worth it :-)
Daddy just woke Spencer up from his nap to head to the beach....Not a happy Beach Boy!
