Well, here we are, just about 37 weeks. We are exactly two weeks away from welcoming our baby into this world! I am so excited. How many times have I said that in the past 9 months? It's about 4:00 am right now and I of course am not sleeping. Par for the course these days :-) Just think, this time in 2 weeks, we will be getting up and heading to the hospital for our 7:45 am arrival and check in!
Normally, I would be super frustrated with the fact that I was up at this hour, BUT I happened to go to look at one of my favorite blogs by Alea Moore Photography and saw that some of our maternity pics were up!!! I will post the blog link below so you all can take a look!! So, anyone who knows me, knows I am overly critically about ANY and EVERY photo of myself so like I said in my previous posts, I wanted to capture this time in our lives and from what I have seen from just a snapshot on the blog, I think Kim, our friend and photographer for our shoot did an awesome job! I cannot wait to see them all!!! Thanks Kim and Alea Moore Photography!

So, just odds and ends to do now......I mean to be honest, if the baby came today, we would be plenty ready but it never hurts to keep chugging away to get things done. This is my first week of "maternity leave" and I have truly been taking it nice and easy. My body needed this time and I am glad my doctor decided my body did too :-)
We had an ultrasound at the perinatal specialist yesterday! Everything is fine but at our 36 week appointment and ultrasound the ultrasound tech was having trouble seeing LBG's left kidney and the doctor needed to make sure all was okay and that we had no surprises! All is good! LBG is happy and healthy and guess what?!?! He is still BREECH! Go figure! Little stinker :-) He is weighing in at a healthy and on target 6.5 lbs!
So all stays as planned, C-section here we come! If anything, our families are most excited because this helps them plan for trips to GA for the birth and Bris 8 days later. No more spur of the moment plan tickets. Instead, tickets have been purchased, rental car reservations made and hotels booked!
Most of you know this, but Bill and I are Jewish and it is customary to have a Bris (Brit Milah) on the 8th day of life.

Never the most pleasant experience for Mom, or Dad for that matter, but very special ceremony for our little boy.
So, what does this mean? More planning! Luckily I have great friends and family that will be baking and we are catering the rest to keep us stress free! Again, another benefit of "knowing" when the baby is coming. Takes the guess work out of planning which I like of course :-)
Like I said, still enough to do to keep my mind racing but nothing that is urgent at this point.
I think it is time for me to try and hit the hay again for a few hours! Night! Or should I say Good Morning :-) ????
I love your photos! They are so beautiful!!!!
